“I know that if I have shown that offside, we can’t come out of field”, it’s one of my colleague assistant referees said after a goal. So can we apply laws of the game? How we can officiate in local games? Who is responsible for these activities? No one is there to take responsibility. But if a referee don’t go for the local games in henveiru ground, Football Association of Maldives will say you are not able to control 2nd division match, how we can give you first division?
This is difficult to except but we have to. Who knows the pressure to referee during the games in henveiru. There are players who don’t think even about their own life. There are benches, but behind the bench it’s full of supporters, all of them are from different kanmathi of male’. There are securities from Maldives Police Service, but only two. Do they can protect match official? When we complain about that in FA no one is listening to that. When we can get a proper field? Good security?
When we write what happened during the match, FA is suspending the players by saying that the referee has complained about you so we have to suspend you. Then the player is calling to referee and threatening to his life. Why FA is not referring even to videos, match commissioners reports. Why FA is not ready to take action even though the referee didn’t mention anything in the report. They have video and other thing. When these thing can be corrected??????
